My mother made me. She loves and nurtures me and teaches me all sorts of things.
My mother taught me I am a daughter of God, to go to church, to serve faithly in my callings, and to love the temple. She taught me to have faith, hope and charity, to be honest, true and chaste, to stand for the right and to pay a full tithe.
My mother taught me to love reading, playing games, and laughing. She taught me to cook, sew, be creative and enjoy learning new things. She taught me cleanliness is next to godliness and to be a good listner (what else could I be since she does all the talking?).
My mother taught me to be a perfectionist, to save everything and create lots of neat stacks. She taught me to be opinionated, to sing off-tune, to strive for perfect hair and to wish for curly hair.
My mother taught me to love my family.
She taught me a lot of other things which I haven’t learned so well, but she keeps trying. My mother taught me to be who I am. Thanks Mom! I love you!!!
