Rainbows

Last weekend I drove up to spend some time with Barth, Cyndi and Brittni. We had lots of fun watching movies, playing games, and browsing Old Town Pleasonton. We also had a 'tasting' of sourdough dipped in different flavored balsamic vinegars, where Barth tried to convince me how great it was. It wasn't bad, but not my favorite.

After all the rain I saw this rainbow on my drive home and managed to snap a few pictures. I actually could see both ends, it had the most brilliant colors I've ever seen on a rainbow and it stayed with me for at least an hour.

College Bowl Pick'em

I'm shamelessly bragging again. Won the bowl game league too!

Christmas 2009 in Hawthorne

Here's a few pictures from Christmas. For Christmas dinner we had Yukatano, our yummy version of taco salad, which was easy and saved us hours in the kitchen.

Presents from Grandma and Grandpa. One of their newest traditions (within the last 10 yrs or so) is to hide the name of the recipient somewhere on the wrapping paper. You have to find your name before you can open it. Believe it or not, they are really really good at maing it quite difficult. It took us a while to sort out this small pile of presents.

Knitted hats for Riley and Sarah...
Most of the rest of us received these adult 'quiet books' with Mormanads and scriptures.
